Firstly, click My Account and then select Athletes
Next, click Create Athlete
Registered Athletes
If your athlete is registered with an athletics association, select the Registered athlete option.
Upon selecting this option, you will then be able to search for an athlete via the athlete’s URN and date of birth.
Important Note: In order to perform a successful search, you MUST know the athlete’s URN AND correct date of birth. Both items must be correct in order for the athlete profile to return.
Firstly enter the athletes URN into the Association/ID field. You can select the appropriate association from the menu next to the field.
Next, enter the athlete’s date of birth within the Date of Birth fields.
Once you have input both the URN and date of birth, you can initiate the search with the Search button.
Alternatively, if you would like to reset the search and begin again click the Reset button.
If either of the details entered are incorrect, the following warning will display. Please ensure that the correct details have been entered.
If the details entered are correct, the following message will appear, and you will then see the athlete profile below.
Important Note: You will not be able to change any of the data within the athlete’s profile as this is returned directly from the athlete’s registered association.
While you cannot update any of the profile details, you are able to add some optional information. At the bottom of the athlete profile, you will be able to set the Email Address, Emergency Contact Name and Emergency Contact Number within the appropriate fields.
Once you have confirmed all the information is correct and you wish to make no further changes, you can save with the Save button at the bottom of the form.
Non-Registered Athletes
If your athlete is not registered with an athletics association, select the Not registered option.
Upon selecting this option, you will then be required to enter all of the mandatory information in order to create the athlete profile. In order to create the profile, you must firstly provide the following in the appropriate fields:
Forename, Surname, Date of Birth, Gender
You must then provide the athlete’s Club and School information. These fields within the form allow you to begin to type in the name of the Club/School and the form will then return to you a list of available options.
Important Note: You must make a selection from the options that are returned to you.
At the bottom of the athlete profile, you will be able to set the Email Address, Emergency Contact Name and Emergency Contact Number within the appropriate fields.
Once you have confirmed all the information is correct and you wish to make no further changes, you can save with the Save button at the bottom of the form.
International Athletes
If you wish to register an international athlete, select the International athlete option.
Upon selecting this option, you will then be required to enter all of the mandatory information in order to create the athlete profile. In order to create the profile, you must firstly provide the following in the appropriate fields:
Forename, Surname, Date of Birth, Gender
You must then provide the athlete’s Country. This field within the form allow you to begin to type in the name of the country and the form will then return to you a list of available options.
Important Note: You must make a selection from the options that are returned to you.
At the bottom of the athlete profile, you will be able to set the Email Address, Emergency Contact Name and Emergency Contact Number within the appropriate fields.
Once you have confirmed all the information is correct and you wish to make no further changes, you can save with the Save button at the bottom of the form.
Once the profile is saved, you will be returned to your list of athletes with the newly saved athlete profile displaying within the list.
