If you would like to setup the bibs for your event, please follow the below guide on how to access and set your bib configuration.
1) Navigate to your event settings. For guidance on how to access this area, please click here.
2) Click Builder
3) Scroll down and select the Bib, Card and Report Information panel
When the panel opens, it will appear as below
Within this panel, the below bib settings can be configured:
Bib Number
The Bib Number field will allow you to set what bibs you would like to use for your event.
For example, if you have a new pack simply enter “1” as this will begin the count from the number 1.
If you have specific bibs available for use, enter the bib numbers you would like to use with commas separating each number. I.e. “1,2,4,5,9,10” If you wish to enter a range of bibs, for example if you have bibs 1-100 available, you can enter this as “1-100”
Spare Bibs
If you have another competition that has spare bibs available (in the event that athletes do not attend etc.), click Use spare bibs
From here, enter the number of the competition that has spare bibs available
Once entered, click the OK button.
Bib Sorting
If you would like to sort your bibs by Club Name, Athlete Name etc. This can be configured by selecting an option from each of the three Bib sort menus.
Bib Sorting for Events
If you would like to sort bibs for specific events, firstly navigate into the Schedule tab of the builder
Next, click the Show Group Editor Grid button
Finally, enter into the Bib Sort field for the event you would like to sort bibs for. Once you have entered a number, the field will appear orange.
If you have a sprint event, you may wish to set this with a sort of “1” as this will then ensure that bib numbers are generated for this event first. This means that athletes in this event will be generated lower bib numbers. This is useful for faster races whereby officials can record smaller numbers easier. You would then enter a “2” into the next event that you would like to generate next, then “3” for the next etc. Alternatively, these fields can be left blank if you do not require this sorting.
Saving all Changes
Once you have configured your settings, ensure that you click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your settings.
