Competition Date
What to do: Select the main date of your competition using the date picker.
Why it matters: This is the primary competition day that appears in listings.
Tip: This date is required and must be set before you can configure age calculations.
Date Entries Open
What to do: Set when athletes can start entering your competition.
Why it matters: Controls when the entry system becomes available to athletes.
Tip: Set to today if you want entries to open immediately, or a future date to delay entry opening.
No entries taken past this date time
What to do: Set the deadline for competition entries.
Why it matters: After this date/time, athletes can no longer enter your competition.
Tip: Make sure this is after the entries open date and gives athletes enough time to register.
Athlete Age Calculation
What to do: Choose how athlete ages should be calculated:
• Competition Year: Ages based on the competition year (e.g., 2024)
• Previous Year: Ages based on the year before competition (e.g., 2023)
Why it matters: Determines which age groups athletes qualify for.
Tip: Use “Previous Year” for early-year competitions where ages should be calculated from the prior year (e.g., January competitions using previous year’s ages).
