Once defined, the results are entered manually or read from photofinish software.
This page defines how to select those athletes that go forward to the next round or final.
The above shows an event which has two heats. The first person has been marked as being automatically qualified for the next round/final ( Capital Q ). The second athlete has qualified as a fastest nonauto qualified athlete ( lowercase q ).
This is done by clicking the Q button on the right, once for Q, twice for a q and a third time to clear the setting.
Once all qualifying athletes have been identified, you can click submit for these to be saved to the system.
